There is a lot to do in The Portes du Soliel in summer and Les Gets is a great base to explore it all. Locally, Les Gets lake is a fantastic place for families with a life guarded swimming area and slide, volleyball and basket ball courts, tree top adventure park, horse riding and BMX bike course. Les Gets itself and the surrounding villages of the Portes du Soleil hold a whole hosts of events anf activities throughout the summer for all to enjoy.

For more adventurous people (of all ages) you can enjoy mountain climbing, via ferrata as well as water activities such as canyoning and white water rafting.

There are plenty of day trips to nearby places with pretty villages to have a nice spot of lunch, or man made beaches on Lake Geneva.
