There is a lot to do in The Portes du Soleil in winter and Les Gets is a great base to explore it all. There are waymarked trails to walk on with snow shoes which can be hired for use, night sledging, cross country skiing, and for those who are more adventurous there is heli skiing, ice diving, paragliding, snow mobiling. Plus, there are large organised events on throughout the winter such as Rock the Pistes and Ski Color.
