Only an hour from Geneva airport, Les Gets is family friendly village that is a bustling ski resort in winter and mountain biking Mecca in summer. The village itself sits at an altitude of 1,172 to 2,002 metres. Typically Savoyard, it has managed to preserve its’ mountain-village soul with traditional stone and wood chalets and varied historic and cultural heritage.

Although Les Gets has gradually increased in size, the centre is still fairly compact with most of what you need close to the main gondola stations. The heart of the village is the Town Hall and Tourist Office sitting amidst a variety of traditional savoyard restaurants, bars and boutique shops.

There is a free bus service taking you around the village and a little train which passes between the two gondola stations.
