Les Gets is a great family ski area with a majority of blue and red runs. Les Chavannes has a free beginner area ‘Les Mappys’ with a choice of four slopes accessible by magic carpet and tow rope. Nearby are the children only ‘Le Grand Cry’ ski area and the ‘Mauve piste’ both of which are fun activity filled slopes.

There are lots of children friendly ski schools, plus an ice skating rink. For younger children there are safe sledging zones and outside the tourist office you can often find activities for children such as ice sculpturing workshops.
