CROSS COUNTRY SKIING offers a way to get off the beaten track and explore the Portes du Soleil in another way. As a beginner a lesson is essential and specialised equipment too which can be hired at most ski hire shops. There are 216km of tranquil trails that criss cross the Portes du Soleil. Les Gets has 33km of cross country skiing tracks and Mozine 40km. DOG SLEDDING is an exhilarating opportunity to attempt to control your own pack of husky dogs. Usually an hour long, you will follow guides up and downhill trying to keep the sledge upright and shouting “mush” a lot at the dogs…There are also options to sit and enjoy the scenery whilst the guide controls the dogs.
