There are a wealth of activities available in the summer in the Port du Soleil. Please find a list of some of these bellow.

  • Tennis courts are available in Les Gets for use by all at no charge, bookings can be made in the chalet next to the courts, situated just outside the main village. There are 2 courts open daily from 1st May until 31st October

  • Tree top adventure trail is based at Les Gets Lake offering 86 games over seven courses including tarzan leaps, giant steps and zip wires. Suited to thrill seekers of all ages and abilities.

  • Caving is a a fantastic way to discover the underground world. Supervision and training from a qualified instructor is essential and all safety equipment will be provided. Sessions usually last from half a day or full day. Suitable for all ages.

  • Mountain Climbing is available for all ages from 6 years onwards on natural rock wall sites. Qualified instructors will offer an initiation and provide safety equipment including climbing shoes.

  • Via Ferrata is an activity that is halfway between hiking and climbing that can be enjoyed by all ages. Climb and hike along side of the rock faces, getting a sense of the vastness of the cliff walls. The activity usually takes half a day.

  • Fishing is available throughout the area, however a fishing permit is compulsory to fish in the region, whether in the lake, streams or rivers. Fishing licences are available for sale in the tourist offices. Areas that can be fished are the Plan du Rocher lake situated in Chavannes, Les Gets and Lac des Mines D’or, Lac Montriond and the river Dranse in Morzine.

  • Trampoline lessons can be organised in Les Gets with a qualified instructor. Suitable for all ages.

  • Horse trekking is situated at Les Gets Lake. You can discover the surroundings on horseback. Perfect for children, you will be accompanied by a guide for 2 or 3 hours or a full day. This is suitable for all levels.

  • Canyoning is the exploration of mountain steams through abseiling in waterfalls, jumping into water bowls and skidding in the natural slides. This is a great way to explore the mountains taken by a qualified guide and provided with safety equipment.

  • Rafting is a perfect water activity to start with. Take on the swirling rapids of the rivers in the Port du Soleil. A raft is very stable in water and holds up to seven people plus the instructor who is there to offer expert supervision and full safety equipment.

  • Swimming in life guard supervised swimming areas can be found at Lac Montriond in Morzine and Les Gets Lake. Both are suitable for children and have shallow pools.
